MLA Shetye has assured that the recently renovated Ganpati immersion site near the Gothaneshwar Temple in Borde will be further upgraded and beautified ahead of next year’s celebrations.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the renovated immersion site, where he said a modern-style roof would be constructed at the facility before next year.

Shetye also emphasised that development projects being undertaken in the area are being planned with the needs of future generations in mind.
He said the government is adopting a 25- to 30-year perspective while planning and executing development works, with the aim of creating infrastructure that will benefit the younger generation in the years to come.
