In a major burglary, unknown miscreants barged into the house of one Govind Madhusudhan Narvekar at Manora-Raia last night and decamped with cash and gold ornaments, all worth around Rs 1.33 lakh.
The incident occurred the shop-cum-residential house last night when the miscreants effected entry inside through the rear door.
While cash of Rs 5,000 was lifted away from the shop, Rs 15,000 cash, besides two bangles, two chains, two pair of earrings were stolen from the cupboard in the house.
A dog squad which was pressed into served failed to give any clues, but the finger print expert is believed to have managed to lift finger prints from the house.
Maina Curtorim police are conducting further investigations.
