BELGAUM: BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendera Modi on Sunday strongly criticized Congress for chanting the mantra of poverty during elections.
Modi has also criticized Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s statement regarding the infrastructural development of the nation. He also assured that once in power he would bring back the black money which is lying in banks outside India and use it for the development of the nation and also offer incentive to the salaried class by the way of tax waivers.
Addressing a mammoth election rally at the C P Ed ground Belgaum, Modi came down heavily on Congress party stating that Congress has looted the nation since last 60 years through various scams and demanded that the Congress-led UPA government needs to answer people of the country in this regard.
“Let the Shehzada answer me whether he has the infrastructural plan regarding construction of new ports to boost global opportunities in India,” Modi asked referring to Rahul Gandhi.

“Give me opportunity to serve you and I will bring back the black money which is lying since years in foreign banks and utilize it for poor people and salaried class in India.”
“You cannot wait for overall development of the nation for another 60 years. Hence give me power and I resolve to bring in the change every common man of the nation requires,” stated Modi.
BJP’s candidate from Belgaum and sitting MP Suresh Angadi, state BJP president Prahlad Joshi, former chief minister Jagdish Shettar, Dr Prabhakar Kore and others were present for the rally.
