PANJIM: Navhind Publications will clash with Tarun Bharat in the final of inter-media 9-a-side football tournament played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Panjim, on Saturday.
Navhind defeated Times of India 2-0 in the penalty shoot-out after both the teams failed to score in regulation time in the first semi-finals. Navhind goalkeeper Aniruddha Raul was adjudged man-of-the-match.
In the second semi-final, Tarun Bharat and Lokmat were locked goalless at full time. Tarun Bharat won 2-0 via penalties.
as Lokmat failed to score in the tie-breaker. Tarun Bharat’s Anil Kalekar was named man-of-the-match.
