266 recruits get letters at Rojgar Mela

These 266 candidates are being recruited to various Central govt posts. In all 141 candidates were present at the event held at Panjim, where 25 were presented their letters by the Union Minister of State.

PANJIM: Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik presented appointment letters to 266 candidates from Goa under first tranche of Rojgar Mela recruitments launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

These 266 candidates are being recruited to various Central govt posts. In all 141 candidates were present at the event held at  Panjim, where 25 were presented their letters by the Union Minister of State. Out of the 266 recruits, 204 recruitments are by Dept of Posts, Govt of India, whereas the rest are distributed among various other depts.

Speaking on the occasion, Naik congratulated all new recruits who received their appointment letters. He described how an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and employment generation was created through various initiatives of the Central government. He stated that these measures will have a multiplier effect on the economy and the country.
