PANJIM: Sai Cricketers, Porvorim thumped Youth of Krantinagar, Ribandar in the finals of 13th all-Goa tennis ball cricket tournament organized by Digicel Sports Club, Panjim at PDA ground, behind Hedgewar High School, Mala, here, recently.
Ribandar scored 30 runs in two overs. In reply, Porvorim chased the total in 1.3 overs.
Individual prizes were awarded to Best batsman Eshwar, Ribandar; Best bowler Pravin, Ribandar and Best catch Milind, Ribandar.
Chief guest, Swapnil Naik, director of GMC, Bambolim awarded the prizes.
Sanjay Devji, president, Digicel SC; Rakesh Chawan, treasurer, Digicel SC; Sarvesh Shirodkar, Nilesh Mangeshkar, Mohan Volvoikar, Krupesh Mashelkar, Sachit Vaingankar, Shrikant Lokre, Bidhut Shill, Karan Singh, Santosh Vaingankar and Suresh Vaingankar were among those present.
