Sanguem: Confusion has reportedly emerged among residents following the distribution of new Ujjwala Yojana forms by the Sanguem BJP, with questions being raised over which forms will be accepted under the scheme.
According to reports, several people who had previously filled photocopies of the Ujjwala Yojana forms began filling them again after being told that only forms distributed by the Sanguem BJP would be accepted, while other forms would not be considered.
The newly distributed forms carry photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, adding to the confusion among applicants.
Raising the issue, Yuva Forward president Meshu D’Costa clarified that there is no distinction between “legal” and “illegal” Ujjwala Yojana forms. He urged members of the public not to be misled or confused over the type of form being used to apply for the scheme.
D’Costa appealed to applicants to verify the requirements before filling out forms again and said the public should not be unnecessarily made to submit duplicate applications.
