PANJIM: The Goa Basketball Association has announced the names of 49 men and 29 women probables to select State basketball teams that will represent Goa at the forthcoming 64th National Basketball Championship to be held at Delhi.
The probables: women: Kezia Frenandes, Hanna Abreau, Nelvie Mendes, Nishita Foster, Michelle Fernandes, Alisha Jose, Sneidh Tiwari, Raisa Frazeirs, Shivane Sandhu, Annu Yadav, Tejal Mahambre, Shonu Mahambre, Ashwarya Pai, Rachelle Fernandes, Alexandra Menezes, Sharlene Fernandes, Josephine Dias, Sweizel Fernandes, Janet Rodrigues, Chesifa Pereira, M. Pharminda, Prachi, Priyanka, Gayle Gomes, Rose Rhea Rebello, Franzel Rodrigues, Rachelle Rapose, Piola Mendes and Dniela.

All the players should report to Menino D’Souza, secretary, Goa Basketball Association with playing kit on October 16, at Don Bosco Oratory, Indoor Court.
The women’s selection trials will be held at 10 a.m. and the men’s at 4 p.m.
Any player, who could not participate in the State championship due to injury or otherwise may also compete, giving in writing to the secretary the reasons thereof.
