PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President J P Nadda is expected to hold series of meetings with the State Cabinet besides interacting with the villagers as the party gears up for the 2022 State Legislative Assembly elections. 

Nadda’s two-day visit is likely on December 21-22. However, the party states that he will be in Goa anytime between December 20 and 22. 

“He will be in Goa before December 23. His visit to Goa is basically to check the organisational structure of the party, interact with party karyakartas, office-bearers and meetings at various levels including district committees, booth level meetings, etc. He will also meet Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, ministers, MLAs among others,” BJP Goa State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade informed Herald. 

The national president’s visit to Goa is a part of his nationwide tour of 90 days.

“His visit is purely from the perspective of building the party organisation. He will personally meet all… We are organisationally strong…”Tanavade said when asked if crucial issues such as mining, railway double-tracking will be discussed.
