PANJIM: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is monitoring the medical treatment of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who is suffering from pancreatitis ailment and is currently admitted at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chief Minister late Sunday evening. Prime Minister spoke to doctors and got updates on the case,” he said. “Chief Minister is stable and recovering,” Lobo said.

Lobo added, “Currently at Lilavati, the treatment is on the right track. Some of the top doctors are treating him. His reports are being sent to US for medical analysis.” he said.

Meanwhile, South a MP Narendra Sawaikar added, “Manohar Parrikar is responding to the treatment. He is being treated by the best expert doctors and as per the information his condition is stable.” Refuting certain reports of him being shifted to USA for further treatment, the South Goa MP remarked “The reports that he is being flown to USA  for further treatment is totally false and baseless.”
