PANJIM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa has warned that rains and thundershowers are likely to occur over Goa until December 3.
IMD Goa also pointed to the rainfall that occurred on Monday too in scattered places across the State and that clouds were present over the taluka of Sattari, which were moving in the South West Direction
The IMD weather update further stated that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning are very likely at isolated places over North Goa and South Goa districts on November 30 and December 1.
The weather forecast also asked the public to avoid open areas/fields, finding shelter under trees or any other tall structure while lightning is taking place.
