A total of 22,730 voters will exercise their franchise as the Pale Assembly goes to polls on Wednesday.Five candidates ? Dr Pramod Sawant (BJP), Pratap Gawas (Congress), Jose Lobo (Save Goa Front) and independent candidates Dr Suresh Amonkar and Rajendra Rane ? are in the fray for the Pale Assembly seat, which fell vacant following the demise of Congress MLA Gurudas Gawas.
