Pedestrian knocked down by scooter at Curti, dies
PONDA: A 58-year-old pedestrian from Mestawada-Curti died while a scooter rider was seriously injured in a road mishap on Friday night.
PONDA: A 58-year-old pedestrian from Mestawada-Curti died while a scooter rider was seriously injured in a road mishap on Friday night.
According to police reports, Ladu Kuttikar was knocked down by a scooter which was proceeding towards Curti and he sustained grievous injuries. He was rushed to the Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim, but died a short while later.
The scooter rider, Chandrakant Gaonkar (25) also received multiple injuries and is undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim..
