Tourists under the influence of alcohol created a ruckus near the Agonda beach shore on Friday morning when the tourists adamantly drove the vehicle on the sand. Due to the tourists' stubborn behaviour, the car got stuck in the sand. Locals immediately called the police on them for their indecent behaviour and urged the authorities to take action.

On Friday morning around 7.30, a.m., a Karnataka-registered vehicle was allegedly creating a ruckus near the Agonda beach shore. The tourists inside the vehicle were inebriated. As per locals, the tourists entered the lane which was meant for pedestrians to walk to the beach. Locals tried to tell the tourists that vehicles are prohibited in this area and cannot be taken back on reverse. This meant that the tourists had to leave the vehicle there.

As per locals, the drunk tourists were not in a state to listen to anybody rather they wanted to get out of the beach by driving in the sand and going from the other side. The tourists were given multiple warnings to not create a ruckus but the stubborn tourists accelerated and rammed their vehicle on the beach leading to their vehicle getting stuck in the sand.

Locals upon noticing the menace, called the local police. Police arrived on the scene and did not take any action. This infuriated the locals and they urged the authorities to take action so that such an incident is not repeated in the future.
