Salgaocar FC down Just for Kix; Ace FA, Tiny Goals Academy win
VASCO: Salgaocar FC beat Just for Kix 1-0 in the inaugural match of the 2nd Edition of the Mormugao Zone Baby League organised by Vimson in association with Salgaocar FC, at the Panchayat ground, Chicalim, recently.
Aradya Naik scored the match-winner.
In another match, Ace Football Academy pipped Regina Mundi Football Academy 1-0. Jaceo Gama was the goal-scorer.
Tiny Goals Academy, Cansaulim thumped Navy Children's School 5-0. David Baretto scored a hat-trick while Minded D’Costa netted a brace.
In the U-10 age group, Kaykee Youth Club, Dongorim-Majorda blanked Salgaocar FC 2-0. Elrich & Elroy D’Silva were the goal-scorers.
In the girls category, Navy Children's School edged past Tiny Goals Academy, Cansaulim 2-1. Amarnath Reddy & Harnoor Singh scored for Navy while Jolin Fernandes reduced the margin for Tiny Goals Academy.
Regina Mundi Football Academy and Ace Football Academy played out a goalless draw.
Just For Kix Football Academy downed Salgaocar FC 3-0. Aavshik Tari, Soham Naik and Aryan Torodkar scored for Just for Kix.
Earlier, the league was kicked-off in the presence of SFC General Secretary Adlear D Cruz and Francisco Nunes GFA Executive Committee Member.
