Blood donation camp at St John the Baptist Church, Pilerne

he Indo-Portuguese Friendship Society (IPFS-Goa) elected its new governing body for 2025–2027 and announced ongoing cultural and language programmes, including Fado workshops, Portuguese courses, and the upcoming Concurso de Fado in November.

St John the Baptist Church in Pilerne, in collaboration with Loving Hearts Goa and the North Goa District Hospital (Asilo) Blood Bank, organised its annual blood donation camp in the church hall.

Mark D’Souza, president of Loving Hearts Goa, along with founding member Ranjit Rodrigues and treasurer Sanyukta Gawade, expressed their gratitude to Fr Derick Fernandes, the parish priest, as well as to all donors and sponsors for their invaluable support in making the event a success.
