The Computer Science Department of Rosary Higher Secondary
School, Navelim,
recently organised a talk on Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation
for the students of Computer Science. The resource person for the day was
Russell Fernandes, faculty, Institute of Advanced Network Technology, Panjim.
Russell spoke about the rising trend of digital marketing and how it is
indispensable for the future. He motivated the students to enroll themselves in
Google certification courses which will provide them with a platform to widen
their horizons. The orientation included a hands-on session, which gave the
students a peek into the world of rankings on search engines. Sheldon
Rodrigues, a teacher from the Computer science department, proposed the vote of
thanks.
