The hospitality industry has been in a shutdown for over three months and after repeated requests to the government to relax the lockdown. June 8th was designated as the day when restaurants and hotels could open and applications were sought for seeking the opening of hotels. For many however the staff has returned home and the local panchayat has expressed their misgivings. Café spoke to hoteliers to get their reaction to the state of affairs
