There have been plenty of trends that have done the rounds, on social media, all

some companies.

Back in the day, our college futsal team wanted to stand out in
a video we were shooting. At the time, the ‘Harlem Shake’ was all the rage, so
we did that on camera. Later on though, with the band that I’m part of, I
undertook the ‘mannequin challenge’, where we would freeze on-stage, halfway
through ‘Uptown Funk’ by Bruno Mars.

The most interesting
social media trends that I’ve been a part of were the ‘ice bucket challenge’
and the ‘mannequin challenge’. I’ve contemplated on being a part of many more
but I didn’t want to become one of those people that subscribed to everything
trending, hence I stepped back.

 I’m not that clued
into what the watermelon dress trend is about, but the craziest one I’ve been a
part of was the ‘Harlem Shake’. I was talked into it, as a group of friends
wanted to do it, just for fun. But that’s been the extent of it.
