Militants & Goans

Our Chief Minister announced that he will hold public session on Mopa. The arrogance of the chief minister has no limits. It fits only for those who pampers his ideas for their own personal needs. But it does make an impact on the Goans at large. For any injustice people have to rise up to any extent and at times need for militancy also arises. India would not have got Independence if Indians had not woken up for the occasion. Goans are not militants in nature. All Goans have equally contributed to the State and so there cannot be discrimination. Militancy in Goa is seen only when the migrants are. The Chief Minister also mentions that foreigners are misleading locals on Mopa, but does not hesitate the give example of London having 8-10 airports. A wild example. Can London be compared to Goa? On which count? Does Goans get all facilities which London provides to its citizens?
The idea of making Mopa a cargo hub will be another disaster. There is no major source in Goa to supply cargo to this hub and so all cargo from other neighboring states will be diverted to Goa via trucks. This will be yet another big menace in Goa. Another segment of migrants will be seen entering Goa. Can we afford to sacrifice Goa for these unworthy deals?
