School undertaking

The Rivona school episode wherein some parents objected to the admission of the HIV+ students has been a matter of shame and has shown the state in poor light to the rest of the country.

It is necessary to prevent the occurrence of such unsavoury incidents in the future. One way of going about with it is to include a clause in the admission forms that the parents will not bring any objection if the school admits HIV+ students in their respective schools which should be signed by both the parents while seeking admission for their child in the school. This should be taken as an undertaking that the parents do not mind their children studying in the school which may admit children with HIV+ status in the future. This will go a long way in preventing repetition of the fiasco that was witnessed in the school at Rivona.
