Welcome to the land of susegado people who are brimming with hospitality. But while we Goans would like to see that all is well in the state, unfortunately all is not well. Like Delhi, Goa too is a small state. The problems faced by the two states are almost similar. Here air pollution is a huge problem, specially, in the Port Town of Vasco. You as Chief Minister of Delhi have managed to improve the quality of air people breathe in that state. Goa too may need such a step. You have been able to bring down corruption in Delhi. Goa too is in great need of showing zero tolerance to corruption.
The issues faced by Goans are myriad. There is the issue of Medium of Instruction (MoI) which has for long not been resolved. If your government does come to power in Goa, you need to take the matter to its logical conclusion. Goans are frustrated with the lack of governance of the state over the last decade or so. They would want a change. That is where your party the Aaam Admi Party (AAP) stands a chance.
Tourism has now become the mainstay of the economy of the state. But unfortunately tourism in the state has been riddled with several shortcomings.
Sir, the problems faced by our tiny state are immense. Only a non-corrupt, efficient, government which believes in good governance will be able to lift Goa and Goans.
Hopefully Goa will witness a change in fortune after the 2017 elections. Also hoping that you will name a leader during your visit to lead your party in these elections, who could also be a prospective chief ministerial candidate if your party comes to power. Wishing you sir a pleasant and productive stay in Goa.
