Your expose of 11 August 2017 on huge amounts running into lakhs of rupees misused by some ministers in the then Congress government on self entertainment is neither surprising nor shocking because this kind of loot of tax payers money has been going on with the blessing of the governments in ruling.
This revelation is seen as a huge fraud perpetrated by the crooked ministers and all people involved in making these monies available at the disposals of these crooks. This money was not only spent, but a large part fraudulently pocketed by the minister concerned. (of course there would be a substantial kick-back for the finance dept personnel involved )
Now, the question is, after your expose, will there be an enquiry into this theft of public money and will the present Government initiate action to recover the same from the thieving ministers and also book them for criminal offense in this fraud? Or will it be swept under the rug because similar skeletons are hanging in the cupboards of every ministers/MLAs?
Nothing will come off this expose. There will be no inquiry/probe/investigation. The perpetrators of this public crime will rest comfortably enjoying their ill gotten earnings as they are protected by their own kind.
You, the public can demand accountability, somebody out there can file a PIL against the looters of public money. But the tragedy is nobody will come forward because our tax payers will find solace in saying “it does not concern me”
Yes, people, as long as you don’t raise you voices against such blatant loot by ministers/, you are the losers. You will have bad roads because the money for making good road is looted by the minister. As long as you don’t raise your voices against such stealing ministers. There is going to be no proper medical facilities and no medicines because the minister has pocketed the money that was for your medicines. As long as you don’t rise up against such thieving ministers, there is going to be no good education for your children because the minister will have pocketed the money that was for your child’s educational facility.
All the money that is allotted to you will be stolen by the ministers/MLAs in power by their own devious means, because you, the one who is silent, is allowing him to steal your money.
