The BJP has proven that the saffron party does not respect women in any form. Be it a teenager, a married woman, a housewife, a mother, a sister or a grandmother. At the end of the day, they are just objects.
It is shocking, or perhaps it’s not, that a CM of a state compares a pregnant woman to a casino. I guess this isn’t so bad as compared to what CMs in other states have stated or claimed. But nevertheless, any comment on a woman such as this is degradable and condemnable. Mr Parsekar, have you not heard of the saying “Behind every successful man is an even more successful woman?” We aren’t aware of what Mr Parsekar’s education has been like, but judging by this, it’s not been very fruitful.
A pregnant woman holds the future within her. Explain how a casino holds the future? A pregnant woman has a family to take care of. Explain how a casino has a family to take care of? A pregnant woman suffers pain and discomfort for 9 months. Explain how a casino suffers for even a day? Mr Parsekar, here is the ground reality. A woman rules the world. She is the key to everything. She keeps families together. She is the heart, soul and the core of a family. Does a casino meet even one of the above abilities? So, how do you compare a pregnant woman to a casino? In fact, I would compare a casino to a government at power.
Govts come to power and in the first deal, people win stuff like reduced petrol prices, subsidies given, etc. Then as the days go by, the common man starts to lose. All the while, the govt gains. Isn’t this similar to a casino?
If the BJP cannot control a body, it’s their inabilities. Let’s not attempt to equate that with anything else. I appeal to all the chauvinists to please do away with this attitude and let us stand up and take responsibility for our own mistakes. Only if we do, will it make us “true” men.”
