The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday announced special measures to prioritise students during the ongoing CBSE board examinations, which will continue till April 10. With lakhs of candidates commuting daily for the exams that began on February 17, the metro authority said it has coordinated with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to ensure smooth travel. Students carrying valid CBSE admit cards will be given priority at security frisking points across metro stations to minimise waiting time. Additionally, candidates will receive preference at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centres. The move aims to ease travel stress and help students reach their examination centres on time across the city.
