Former BCCI president and veteran cricket administrator Inderjit Singh Bindra passed away on Sunday evening at his New Delhi residence. He was 84. According to reports, Bindra’s health deteriorated suddenly earlier in the afternoon, and he breathed his last around 6.30 pm.
His last rites will be held at the Lodhi crematorium in New Delhi on Monday. Close associates said Bindra had lunch at home before feeling unwell, after which his condition worsened rapidly. His son Amar Bindra and daughter were present in the capital at the time of his passing.

ICC Chair Jay Shah expressed condolences, calling Bindra a stalwart of Indian cricket administration. Bindra served as BCCI president from 1993 to 1996 and played a key role in shaping the sport’s governance in India.
