Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has extended his support to the ongoing student-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest in the national capital, praising the demonstrators for maintaining a peaceful approach while demanding reforms in the education system.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the actor commended the students for their courage and urged that their movement should not be politicised. Salman accompanied the message with a grainy photograph from his school days and stressed that the issue of examination paper leaks deserved immediate attention.

Calling paper leaks a “very serious issue”, Salman said the matter concerns students and the country’s education system and should remain focused on their interests rather than becoming a political debate.
He expressed confidence that the government would support the students’ concerns and work towards strengthening the education system.
“This issue is between the students and the educational system. It should not be hijacked politically. The credit should only go to the students of our country, and I am sure the government will also give them all the support and make it a stronger educational system. It’s a win-win situation. Hoping and praying for a positive decision. God bless all of you who wanna be educated,” Salman Khan wrote.
The actor concluded his message by expressing hope that education in India would one day become a global attraction, saying he wished it would become a “fashion trend” that encourages students from around the world to come to India for higher studies.
Salman Khan is the latest film personality to publicly voice support for the student movement, which has sparked widespread discussions on examination reforms and the integrity of the country’s education system.
