VASCO: Vasco police have booked three persons namely Ahiyana Acharya Sharma, Amit Kulkarni both from Mumbai and Mahadev H in connection with a forgery and cheating case.
Vasco police informed that Deepak Mehta, owner of Maharaja Hotel, Vasco filed complaint against the trio. Mehta stated that he had given his hotel on lease to Maniyari Hotel Pvt Ltd. These accused sworn in affidavit saying that the trade licence which is in complainant’s name be transferred in Ahiyana’s name.
According to Vasco police, the complainant’s signature was forged on the affidavit and forwarded to MMC. After learning about the incident, Mehta filed complaint with Vasco Police Station. Vasco Police registered offence under Sections 464, 465, 468, 471 r w 35 of the IPC. Further investigation is on.
Meanwhile, Vasco Police arrested 27-year-old Alto Dabolim resident Pratik Naik for allegedly trespassing and threatening his neighbour Pramila Jadhav of dire consequences. The complainant stated that Pratik on Tuesday trespassed into her house and used filthy language. Vasco police is investigating the case.
