MAPUSA: Mapusa Police on Thursday arrested three natives of Maharashtra identified as Shubham Suryavanshi, Amol Tidongi and Datta Gayakwad for allegedly committing theft in a Kadamba bus.

According to police, Supriya Mundayw lodged a complaint. The incident occurred at Mapusa bus stand where the Kadamba bus was stationed at around 4.45 pm.
The accused persons first robbed a gold bangle of the complainant by cutting it, causing her a loss of Rs 10,000 and further stole wallets containing cash and documents belonging to Pranali Gadekar and Sagar Dignekar.
Police have registered an offence under Section 379, 427 r/w 34 IPC.
