PILERNE: Three inmates of a house located at Sautavaddo, Baga suffered injuries in a major fire on Saturday early morning due to a suspected cylinder blast.
A portion of the residential house located near Ratna bar and Restaurant, Baga, was completely gutted. The owner suffered a loss of around Rs 4,50,000, while the Fire services said they managed to save property worth Rs 50,000.
The Pilerne Fire officials informed that the fire broke out at around 3.30 am.
The injured are Jagannath Gadekar (45), his wife Vishranti Gadekar (38) and their daughter Divya Gadekar (14); they were taken to Goa Medical College Hospital, before the fire personnel arrived.
