PERNEM: Pernem Police arrested one Chander Ramanand Mani, aged 30 years and native of Tikri Himachal Pradesh for possessing narcotic substance suspected to be charas worth Rs 34,000, on Tuesday.
According to the police, a team headed by Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi conducted the raid at Urmalbagh, Morjim, where he was presently residing.

An offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act has been registered and the accused person has been placed under arrest.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of PI Dalvi.
