6 cattle electrocuted

Six cattle, including four buffaloes and two bulls, were electrocuted near ITI, Tuem, on Saturday night.
According to locals, the incident occurred when the cattle came in contact with a live electricity wire, which had snapped and fallen on the ground.
Locals, who were at the site during the incident, immediately contacted Pernem electricity department officials, who rushed to the site. Pernem Police conducted panchanama.
The cattle owners are yet to be identified and Pernem police are investigating.
