724 COVID patients recover

Panjim: In the single-day spike, as many as 724 COVID-19 patients were declared cured from the infection on Friday. 

The day, however, also saw another 519 people testing positive while three succumbed to the deadly infection.

Since January 29, Goa has reported 31, 071 confirmed coronavirus cases, of which 5,614 are active cases. Total deaths reported are 386 and 25,071 patients have recovered. 

Of the three deaths, two were brought dead while one died in Goa Medical College. All succumbed due to co-morbid condition. As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services, the victims included a 63-year-old patient from Moira, 54-year-old from Curchorem and 65-year-old from Raia.
