Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s security elevated to Y+ category amidst reported threats

Shah Rukh Khan’s security cover has been elevated to the Y+ category by the Maharashtra State Intelligence Department (SID) due to recent reports of potential threats to the actor. After a high-level committee meeting that reviewed threats and security measures for the superstar, this decision was made. The exact nature of the threat has not been disclosed by the police.

Under the Y+ category security, Shah Rukh Khan will be provided with 11 security personnel, including six commandos, four police personnel, and a traffic clearance vehicle. These personnel will be stationed at his residence, Mannat. It is worth noting that this security cover will be provided on a payment basis and will remain in place until the next high-level committee recommendation and review committee decision.
