Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas will move a private members’ bill, for the legalization of bullfights. Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai, people of Benaulim constituency and some bull owners have supported him. Venzy reasoned that corruption in the sport would end and the state can generate around Rs 500 crore from this heritage sport from its legalization.
