MARGAO: The Goa State Biodiversity Board, at its recent meeting, took serious note that Biodiversity Committees are not holding regular meetings in the villages and hence has given a calendar for meetings to ensure that at least four biodiversity committee meetings are held every year.
The Board has directed the village biodiversity committees to meet on the last Sunday of February, first Sunday of May, Independence Day and the second Saturday of November to ensure at least four meetings in a year.
