PANJIM: The State Cabinet on Wednesday decided to grant uniformity in the pay scales of Head Constables in the Dog Handler, Band and Armourer sections on par with Head Constable (Executive).
In another decision, the cabinet has approved appointment of Deepak Sawant, Head Clerk in the office of Minister for Power on deputation basis by surrendering the post of Under Secretary during the tenure of the Minister/Ministry.
The Cabinet further resolved that the post of Under Secretary shall be deemed to be restored when Sawant after having been appointed as Head Clerk is relieved.
