PANJIM: The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has sought a reply from the General Administration Department (GAD) of the State government over a complaint filed against the swearing-in of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant his cabinet alleging it to be violation of model code of conduct.
The national vice president of Forward Democratic Labour Party (FDLP) Sadanand Vaingankar has filed the complaint with Election Commission of India and CEO.
Speaking to Herald, Additional CEO Narayan Sawant said that the office has sought a reply from GAD in the matter at the earliest.
