CUNCOLIM: A two-and-half-year-old child died on Friday at Hospicio Hospital, Margao due to severe burns.
According to Cuncolim police sources, the girl child is a daughter of a Jharkhand native who is staying at Chinchinim with his family in a rented room. On July 16, the girl was playing and the mother had kept the hot tea in container. When trying to get the tea container, hot tea spilled on her due to which she was burnt. On Friday, the infant succumb to injury. Police handed over the body to family.
