MARGAO: The public at large and the persons who are putting up the stalls at the Chinchinim fair are specifically informed that the fair will remain open for 10 days that is from September 8 to 18, after which the stalls will have to be dismantled.
The Chinchinim Deussua panchayat has also decided that all the stalls at the fair would compulsorily close at 10 pm and no business will be conducted beyond that time. Besides, the stall owners and people working there have been asked to use the mobile toilets provided by the panchayat and open defecation would not at all be tolerated.
Besides, the fair will be plastic free and stall owners or vendors are strictly advised not to use any plastic carry bags. Not adhering to these conditions will attract fines as per the law and rules in force.
