This particular chamber existing adjacent to the turn, near Almeida High School in Ponda, proves to be dangerous for the travellers proceeding along this strategic location. The chamber appears as a pothole and there is every possibility of pillion riders losing control and falling down, causing serious injuries. The situation tends to be more serious during the night. As on Friday, May 10 at 7.30 am, the situation in this regard was found to be unchanged. Public at large must be assured safety on a permanent basis. Hence, it is the need of the hour for the concerned authorities to undertake repairs at this particular chamber thereby assuring that the surface is in uniformity with the level of the road. Let us hope that prompt favourable action would follow in this matter before the situation turns from bad to worse.
