Photos show garbage thrown at the roadside at Pirazona, Moira. I don’t blame the panchayat authorities for this unhygienic mess but rather the senseless citizens in and around Moira.
In spite of a board being displayed “Do not throw garbage” yet these so called educated people throw their garbage here, keeping their house clean and messing up the environment. But what is still agonising is that as you can see in the photograph is that on the other side of the road is St Xavier pre-primary school. This filthy smell is hazardous to the good health of these little children.
I hope the citizens who dump their garbage here realise the seriousness of the matter and dump their garbage into the garbage van which is a good door to door service carried out by the Village panchayat of Moira.
