The subject location is in Aldona, Santarxeth near St Thomas Primary School (old)/Holy Cross Chapel, which is part of the very busy road starting from Aldona market proceeding towards Mapusa and vice versa.
With the heavy traffic flow from all areas during the school/work hours (including traffic from Bicholim, Mayem), this location is slowly turning into a very dangerous spot due to very deep curve. In addition, one can often find heavy vehicles stopping right at the curve point making situation more difficult for the commuters as it blocks the view of approaching vehicles.
As evident in the photo, it is requested, in the interest of general public, that the concerned authorities conduct a site inspection at the earliest and find a suitable solution either by fixing convex mirrors and/or increasing the road width at the curve and/or a temp measure to fix some sign boards at both ends for traffic slowdown. With the ever increasing number of two and four wheelers, the situation is bound to get worse and hence, immediate attention is needed.
