The matter regarding branches of an adjoining tree covering a LED fixture near Almeida School in the vicinity of old bus stand in Ponda was published in this column on March 1.
The said branches prevented illumination over the road. Taking a note of above post, the Electricity Department chopped the branches covering the said LED fixture.

Travellers and pedestrians would now be assured illumination on the road during night time. Indeed, their hardships have come to an end.
