A lot of garbage is scattered along the Adpai jetty in Ponda. The situation turns unhygienic for travellers and pedestrians proceeding along this location. Not only garbage, but even mud, broken tiles and other construction debris is being dumped here with great ease.
The Adpai-Durbhat Village Panchayat has conducted cleanliness drives on several occasions. However, in reality keeping the jurisdiction neat and tidy has become a difficult task.

Let us hope that the local MLA Sudin Dhavalikar would inspect this jetty on priority basis and instruct the Village Panchayat accordingly. No doubt, hygienic conditions must be assured at all costs.
