There are some hotels in Colva which have been releasing sewage into the fields for years and continue to do so, till this day.
Despite so many complaints to the authorities nothing is being done and it appears there is alleged corruption going on, where specific officials are allegedly bribed by the respective hoteliers.

Can the Chief Minister and particularly the Environment Minister urgently look into the matter and if necessary suspend the licence of the erring hoteliers until they rectify the issue. If not, then the respective hotels should be closed down.
How difficult is it really to clamp down on such polluting activities? The government is talking about development in thousands of crores but can’t even get the basics right.
