Matka thrives in Mapusa

Matka bookies have set up a brand news make shift booking counter behind the St Jerome’s Church complex, along the road that connects from the Tar junction to the Mapusa market.

The bookies have been brazenly and openly displayed the matka numbers and a board to invite gambles. Residents in the area say that these bookies have the patronage of a prominent politician. While everything here is visible to the naked eye, the Mapusa police can either see no evil or prefer to see evil.
