Parked two-wheelers leave no space for pedestrian crossing

Several parking spaces in the cities are earmarked for two-wheeler parking. However it is observed that the two-wheelers are parked very close to each other leaving very little space for pedestrians to get to the other side of the road as seen in the photo taken at Vasco market. As a result pedestrians have to squeeze through the gap between two vehicles or take a longer route. There need to be markings on the roads of spaces which is not to be used for parking but for pedestrians to cross.
