Reading through the newspaper the Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho has praised his Government for winning the India Today award for the Best Small Tourism State. I would like to draw the attention of the Minister that building bridges is not all development. The state budget is prepared to do all round development in all fields. The piling up of garbage along the MDR roads in Siolim-Ganeshpuri Mapusa road is still awaiting the renewal of the contract. It is sorry state to see stray cattle that used to graze on these lush green Assagao-Siolim hills have turned into garbage scavengers and now have come to the rescue of the good governance propagated by the regime and have a very important role that many of the politicians play. The Swachch Bharat Mission is now taken up by the cows and other animals. Goa needs one more award in this regard for creating awareness among animals in participating in the Swachch Bharat Mission.
