CLP to discuss rail double tracking

PANJIM: The issue of railway double tracking by the South Western Railway (SWR) and the discrepancies and ambiguities in the COVID-19 deaths reported by the government are some of the issues which will be discussed at the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting convened on Friday, September 17.

The agenda for the meeting to be chaired by leader of the Opposition Digambar Kamat also includes discussion about the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation in Goa, discussion about the collapsing of law and order situation in the State.

The meeting will also pay tribute to veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Oscar Fernandes who passed away recently.
